School Logo Ideas and Examples
Every school or learning institution has their own story and personality that deserves something more than a basic logo. School branding can serve as a great first impression that helps families know what they can expect from your organization. Here’s a round-up of incredible school logo designs, each operating in different capacities and contexts.
It was a fun challenge to build on the incredible, existing brand equity of the Ben Lippen School. We kept what was working, but refined their mountain mark for better versatility so they could upgrade things like new monograms and cohesive athletic branding.
“We are loving our new logos and the community has fully embraced them! It’s even on our gym floor!”
St. John’s Christian Academy has a rich school history that we utilized in their main school logo design. From there we were able to extend similar branding colors into their athletics identity. Their school sports team logo kept their same foundational look while adding the right amount of energy for athletics.
Queen City Church has a child development center called Foundations that shares space with their children’s ministry. It was important that the childcare center branding felt connected to the overall kids ministry environment. Many families experience the church through childcare first, so creating an intentional, unified experience in the shared space complemented each logo design nicely.
Kingdom Culture Academy in Florida needed a sophisticated logo design that reflected excellence and highlighted their black and gold color palette. We had to think through what would work best on their school uniforms that were full of stitching and embroidery. The result is a school logo design that feels elevated and meaningful so students and staff can wear it with pride!
Homeschool communities may feel more personal, but that doesn’t mean their brand identity is any less important. This project we completed for the South Carolina Association of Independent Homeschools communicates credibility and care and works well on things like lesson materials, co-op signage and even social media groups.
The Academy at District Church is all about empowering the next generation and preparing them for the real world. Whether they’re teaching students how to clean a chicken or mine Bitcoin, we wanted a school logo design with the same pioneering spirit built into their confidence.
“Josh is a master designer but even more, he knows how to lead a business leader and their team through the process.”
The project we completed for Lexington Baptist Church was full of colorful, fun illustrations they’re able to use uniquely throughout their childcare space. This preschool logo design is a good reminder that typography doesn’t have to be overly academic to still communicate the value of learning.
The Orchard is an early childhood development center that wanted something fun and easily readable, while still bringing a sense of professionalism that builds trust with parents. Their thoughtful logo design is kid-friendly and instantly welcoming.
Cape Christian Leadership College had a lot of coastal calm and Florida shoreline details. The ministry college logo design landed with a mixture of bookstore meets local surf shop. The beach color palette helps create a freeing, young adult vibe that we love, as well!
