Kids Ministry Logo Design: Vineyard Cincinnati Church

Project Client: Vineyard Cincinnati Church || Vineyard Kids

Project Type: Children’s Ministry Rebrand

Lead Designer: Rachel Baker

A great kids ministry brand can create excitement for Sundays and help families instantly recognize where their children belong. We partnered with Vineyard Cincinnati Church to create a visual identity that would capture the joy and peace of mind that families need to experience every time they walk through the doors.

This church is doing kids ministry right! Each week at Vineyard Kids, they see children dragging their parents across the parking lot, not the other way around. These kiddos are eager to see their friends and discover more about Jesus. This community is full of diverse families who come from different socioeconomic backgrounds and speak multiple languages.

After our initial design, we gave lots of specific feedback that was acted on very quickly and we got exactly what we were looking for!
— Bethany Robertson, Vineyard Kids

The church is surrounded by nature so we know we wanted the same sense of discovery and adventure reflected in the kids ministry brand idea and colors. The hand-drawn illustrations and doodles playfully capture the creativity of kids while still looking clean.

Any kids brand with characters is an opportunity to have fun! Kids brands are a fun challenge in strategic thinking – how can we tie this into the primary church brand in a way that makes sense, but give it its own unique personality tailored to kids? Grape job team!
— Rachel Baker, Bright Coal Designer

Vineyard Kids wants every child to know they’re known and loved by God. A great kids ministry logo design won’t bring life change, but it will help create an environment that kids can get excited to belong to.
