Favorite Places to Learn

My approach to education is 3-pronged:

  1. Learning specific skills (e.g. “How to get better at script lettering”)

  2. Absorbing a designer’s philosophy/approach (e.g. “I want to learn to think about projects/career/industry like Paul Rand”)

  3. Learning general principles/concepts (e.g. “I want to understand color theory better”)

The list below is a mix of these.

I didn’t include much from #1, since it’s so specific, and usually starts with a Youtube search. For #2, you’ll need to discover your own “Creative Parents” that chart your course.

This is by no means an exhaustive list, but more of a jumping off point for you. Hope this helps you on your journey!
