What is it?
Think of it like a podcast + creative conference breakout session + study group
A 90-minute monthly, limited-capacity video call designed to foster group learning and community.
There will be guest speakers to briefly discuss a topic, but the majority of the call will be no-holds-barred Question/Response and group conversation.
Is this for me?
This is intended to be a melting pot of church creative professionals and amateurs looking to meet new friends, get inspired, and learn new skills.
Bright Coal Breakouts will have the most value for:
Youth Pastors / Creative Directors trying to establish or improve an in-house creative team
Young designers or creative volunteers that want face time with professionals to speed up the learning curve
Church designers looking to grow and meet people
How does it work?
Bright Coal Breakouts will launch in Fall 2021. Sign up for the mailing list to get first access.
Breakout sessions will be announced. Registration is free and will be on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Sessions will take place via video meeting and are expected to last roughly 60-90 minutes.
Admission is free, but here’s what I’m asking from you…
Only register if you’re serious about attending. Due to limited capacity, no-shows mean that someone else might not be able to join.
One ticket = one attendee. For optimal experience, the goals is single users, rather than larger groups around a TV.
Show up ready to chat! This is not a spectator sport. You don’t need to have it all figured out, but you do need to be ready to meet new people.
